Project Brief: Design, supply and installation of a commercial washing-up area
South Coast Catering Equipment (SCCE) was appointed to design, supply and install a new commercial washing-up area for The Bell in Ticehurst, East Sussex. The project presented a unique challenge, with a restricted existing space requiring a carefully planned solution to improve workflow, maximise efficiency and support the demands of a busy hospitality environment.
Through detailed CAD and 3D modelling, SCCE developed a tailored design that made the most of every available millimetre. The installation incorporated bespoke stainless steel solutions and high-quality commercial catering equipment, creating a practical and durable wash-up area designed around the client’s operational requirements.
The project included the removal and disposal of existing equipment, water and waste service works, and the complete installation of the new catering facilities. Despite the space limitations, SCCE successfully delivered a streamlined and efficient workspace that improved functionality while meeting the high standards expected by the client.
