South Coast Catering Equipment (SCCE) was appointed to design, supply and install a modern commercial training kitchen for Bexhill College in Eats Sussex. Working alongside Bauvill Group, the project focused on creating a professional catering facility that provides students with practical, hands-on experience in a realistic commercial kitchen environment.
The kitchen was carefully designed to balance the needs of education with day-to-day catering operations, delivering a functional, efficient and durable workspace for both teaching and food preparation. From the initial CAD design through to project management and final installation, SCCE worked closely with the main contractor to ensure the project was delivered on time and to a high standard.
The completed facility features high-quality commercial catering equipment, bespoke stainless steel fabrication and professionally installed ventilation canopies, creating a safe, hygienic and efficient environment for both students and staff. The result is a future-ready training kitchen that supports hospitality education while providing the reliability and performance expected from a commercial catering facility.
